DAMA’s Executives were special guests of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) celebrating the film premiere “Sosúa: Make a Better World”, along with the film’s directors Peter Miller and Renée Silverman. The local branch of the AJC is implementing part of its mission to reach out to Chicago’s Latino communities to forge friendship and cooperation.
A few years ago, the national AJC invited DAMA’s executives to be special guests at a dinner with US Congressmen and Senators in the nation Capitol in an effort to initiate and consolidate their friendship with national Latino leaders.
DAMA appreciated these invitations and will be working in partnership with the AJC to promote cultural programs which highlight both organizations’ contributions to the American society.
