Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She migrated with her family to the United States at the age of fourteen. In 2014 she received a B.B.A. from Lehman College, with a concentration in International Business and minor in Computer Science. That year she started her career at Walmart Corporate where she held several positions related to corporate compliance, ethics, and risk management. In 2017 she joined AbbVie Biopharmaceutical, Abbott Laboratories spin-off and a research-based pharma company, located in North Chicago, Illinois.
Aside from being a DAMA board member, Dannilda volunteers throughout the city of Chicago and New York City through the organizations Chicago Cares and New York Cares. She is also a volunteer member of the American Red Cross in the city of Chicago.
