DAMA Hosted a Fundraiser Party

On Thursday, November 18th, 2010, DAMA held a Fundraiser Party at Tumbao Bar & Grill Restaurant for the purpose of funding its ongoing scholarship awards and operational expenses. It was a fun, successful evening with guest appearances by Telemundo anchor Tsi-tsi-ki Félix and Chicago City Clerk Miguel del Valle. Scholarship awards are given yearly to meritorious students of Dominican descent who are planning to enroll in or are already pursuing post-secondary education.
